TOWN OF STANLEY, NORTH CAROLINA
Notice is hereby given that a meeting will be held by the Planning Board of the Town of Stanley at the Town Hall, 416 Highway 27S, Stanley on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., for the purpose of considering amendments to the zoning ordinance. The proposed amendments are as follows:
1. Text Amendment – Definitions
a. Add definitions to Section 8.3 Definitions of Specific Terms and Words of the Zoning Ordinance
i. Add definition for “Food Truck”
ii. Add definition for “Mobile Businesses”
2. Text Amendment – Table of Permitted Uses
a. Add “Mixed-Use” zoning category to the Table of Permitted Uses, Article 12 of the Zoning Ordinance
b. Approve uses allowed by-right (X) and uses allowed by special use permit (S) in the Mixed-Use zoning district
c. Add “Food Truck” and “Mobile Businesses” as uses in the Table of Permitted Use and approve these uses in each zoning district
