Yes. Children under the age of 16 shall not be in a public place without adult supervision from 11 pm till 6 am, Sunday through Thursday, and midnight till 6 am, Friday and Saturday.

Per Stanley Ordinance 70.23, helmets are required for anyone under 16 years of age when operating upon any street, public roadway, public path, sidewalk or other public right-of-way.

The speed limit inside any municipality is 35 miles per hour (mph) unless otherwise posted.

There are several areas in the downtown business district where the speed limit is 20 mph. However in school zones during specific times the speed limit is 25 mph.

The Stanley Police Department has a secured drop box in the lobby of the Police Department building at 230 S Main Street where prescription medication can be discarded and properly disposed of. No liquids, needles or creams.
