8am-5pm Monday-Friday. City Council meets 1st Monday of Month at 6pm.
Structural additions, mobile homes, new home construction, utility buildings, new businesses, signs, etc.. require a zoning permit from the Town of Stanley and often from the County as well. Please check with Town Hall before starting a project to avoid any problems.
There are two parks located in Stanley. Locations are at E. Parkwood St. and W. Plum St.
Trash and recyclables are collected through contract with Harris Sanatation 704-263-2340. Items are collected once a week either on Monday or Tuesday depending on your address. Brush/Leaf/ And Junk items are collected by the Town.
Is billed monthly. Your bill will be mailed out at the 1st of the Month and is due by the 10th. Penalties begin on the 16th and disconnection will start on the 1st business day after the 25th if not paid in full. A reconnection fee of $40 applies & $80 for after hours. Minimum billing for residents in Town limits is $36.95 and $50.60 for outside of Town. A deposit of $100 for rental property and will be refunded when tenant moves and has paid all past due. Sorry we do not accept co-signers on deposit.
